I would avoid at all against calling in in the evening. Following the above steps.

Hold time was 40 minutes (Said 25). Reached a woman who said that Tier 2 leaves at around 2:30 and if you want to reach them, you have to call pretty much first thing in the AM. On top of that when she tried to look up my case she cited technical difficulties and said I could either call back in 2-3 hours (it was 6:30) or another day.

I'm also waiting! Looking at the cases near mine on Case Tracker, a few EAD cases are being approved every day, so I'm hopeful. I wonder whether at some point you end up in a pile on an immigration officer's desk, and at that point you're just subject to their personal caseload.

Still waiting here too but in good news last week we received a text that our AOS interview has been scheduled.  This was a complete surprised because our local office (west palm beach, FL) has a wait time of 13.5 months 😮 .  Our interview is scheduled for september 3rd and we feel very lucky.  Still holding out for the EAD/AP but with only a couple weeks left it looks like we will get the AOS first.  In my opinion i feel that if you are a Feb Filier and you dont have an interview date yet then you will receive your EAD/AP very soon.  If you have a date already and are still waiting for EAD/AP then they might wait to adjudicate your case until the interview.  Just a guess.

Hi,

I just want to let you know don't look at the VJ processing time because that's not accurate. It's been more than 3 weeks the USCIS processing time is in March. It's on March 19 now for the EAD. You guys can make inquiry already!! Here is the link !

My husband got his interview letter today (no idea how...no post on Sunday..maybe our neighbor had it?) the date is set for sept 19th

still no word  On AP/EAD but I doubt that matters now ..

he he doesn’t have  ssn or a state ID so I’m not sure if his passport or the k1 visa inside counts as a “government issued ID” but we are gathering the rest of our informstion

we are Philadelphia field office by the way

his passport will act as an official government ID.  However i would highly suggest applying for his SSN.  He will need it regardless and if you apply this week then you should receive it before your interview and will further strengthen your application.   Also try to be over prepared for your interview, if your case worker asks for more documentation then you will want to be prepared to submit that on the spot rather then going through an "administrative review" until the docs are received and processed.

We checked the field for “do you want the ssa to issue you a social security card” on the i765 which seems as if it’s getting completely ignored

can we even apply for an ssn at this point? His I-94 is well past expired (and the dumb thing clumps his first and middle name)

I just assumed he'd get one with the green card now at this point? Is that not the case? When will he get an SSN?

Well I looked online and my EAD was updated yesterday to "new card being produced". My AP does not have any update on it. Does the EAD mean I will also have my AP? Thanks!

Yeah my EAD updated first then the next day my AP did. Apparently the AP doesn’t always update but you’ll still get it if you applied for it

I cant say for certain that he would get a SSN automatically.  However you can check your local Social Security office and apply from there at anytime.  I would suggest doing that first and they should be able to confirm if he would be issued a number automatically with the GC.  Good luck

Congratulations.  Did you ever get a text message?
