I received a text msg this morning saying my EAD status is updated. Does it mean my EAD card will be mailed to me soon?

Does anyone know how long it take?

But my AP status did not change yet. Does it mean my AP is still not approved and I will not have a combo card?

Hey all, March Filer here. Just wanted to update y'all on some new movement:

Huge update on the the USCIS site. It says estimated wait time for EAD and AP approval moved from 6-8 months to 2.5-5 months for the NBC. I really hope its not a glitch or something but I just checked both and 10 minutes ago it was 6-8 months. It literally just changed to 2.5-5 months

Wow nice find. Well they're saying date for a case enquiry is March 2nd, and I filed February 22nd, so I submitted a service request. Just spoke to my friend who works in an immigration attorney's office who said the dates are genuine, and they're seeing a flood of approvals this week. Let's see what happens!

From what it looks like on the USCIS site, they are separating AOS EAD/AP cases and just regular EAD/AP cases that were getting flooded at the NBC. Regular EAD/AP cases, the wait time is 10-12 months.

Sounds like you're right, I'm being told that EAD based on asylum is taking 6-9 months now, and that they're trying to eliminate it. Parole in Place (for parents and spouses of military people) is getting eliminated tomorrow under a Trump executive order.
