I had to provide a formal copy of my job offer letter, and complete a simple form providing my case numbers and reason for expedite. I wrote due to needing a job to support my family - which everyone can say right?! and someone from his office let me know they had sent the enquiry to uscis directly. I then got notice from his office that it had been approved and to expect the letters, which I got a few days ago.

I wondered if they were particularly keen on expediting as the company I’m going to work for is very large and their head office is in my state. I am not sure if it was for a part time position at Starbucks that it would have the same effect you know? Not hating on that role either, just trying to think like they might.

Thank you for the details! This was so helpful! 🙏🏼 I agree with you on the job situation, it’s crazy how so many people are expected to just sit around and not work for 6/7 months, but so happy for you!

Hi everyone

I came here on a K-visa and got married a month ago and now I’m getting my green card package ready.

Do we need the form I-130? or is that only for spouses living abroad?

Thank you!

Hello everyone!

It has been 41 days since fingerprint review is done and my status is still "Fingerprint Review was completed.".  As I see from other people's timeline, after fingerprint review the status changes quicker than 41 days. Do you think it is normal ?

If you're a K1 filing and you got married within the 90 days, I do not believe you need to include the I-130.

Probably normal. Not everyone's status updates online. My I-485 is stuck on "ready to be scheduled for an interview" even though I will have the interview in a couple of weeks. My other applications are still stuck on "received".

Why are you so annoyed about the fact that we're  waiting too? What other word did you want us to you? We ARE waiting and we are NOT bitching about it. Your comment is very much uncalled for.

SO annoying when people say that - YES WE ARE AWARE OTHERS ARE WAITING. Hush now and let us get back to waiting and talking to each other even if it does include bitching because we want to and we have a right to 🤪😂 Their comment was totally uncalled for ✌🏼

Since March 5th...

check with some folks from September, October, November, December and January.  Ask them what it’s like to be waiting still...

Just like Nicola and Jordan said, she/he is talking about their individual case and people are WELL AWARE others are waiting and it probably doesn’t feel the best. There’s no need for that patronising comment tbh.

03/01/2019 - USCIS Chicago lockbox received case  for AOS/EAD/AP

03/21/2019 - NOA1 received hard copy via post (Notice date 03/14/2019)

I guess some people really don't see the reality which others are dealing with. Some September, October, November and December filers wish to get "ready to be schedule for interview" but yet still nothing has happened for them.

I have been following these filers and I feel sad for most people. No approval for EAD/AP. So these people are beyond frustration.

I only say we all get what we want in a fair way.
