Hey, seems that I have a little problem. I lost my vaccination report (and I don't know why I didn't make copies 🤪). I asked the doc to send me the record again and they will. Unfortunately by snail mail, they are not able to send it per email (#######). Here's the problem, I assume, the mail will arrive within 2 weeks. My passport says, I'm allowed to stay until 18th of March. So that is a rough timeframe now. If I would send the documents in later than the 18th March, is that a not allowed overstay?

Technically, yes. But even if you file for AOS after that date you will still get "authorized stay" allowed by the Attorney General when you do file. Between March 18 and the day you receive your I-485 receipt notice (your proof of "authorized stay" until you either receive an EAD or your GC is approved) it's best not travel south of CBP interior checkpoints (usually within 70 miles of the southern border): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Border_Patrol_interior_checkpoints#List_of_permanent_checkpoints

Hey guys we filed 2 days ago (finally) and it's supposed to arrive tomorrow. I goofed and lost my tracking receipt though 🙄 anyways so will I technically be a March filer? Is it based on NOA1 or actual file date?

My appointment letter says NBC service center on I797 ASC Appointment Notice.

I got a notice via text and when I checked it did say National Benefits Center. My receipt letters all start with MSC which I was told is for the Missouri Service Center...

anyway, what is the address for yout biometrics appointment and which state do you live in?

So...I'm a quasi January/February filer...and I thought I'd give an update on this page, too:

My attorney (who processed our entire AOS package) just sent me a friendly "Reminder" to appear for my ASC/Bio appointment - NEXT WEEK!  I'm like...what-the-h*ck?!?!?!?

I never received any kind of notice, and my online profile hasn't updated, either.

Either way, they received the notice (apparently) yesterday, even though the notice is dated just ** 2 DAYS ** after the case was created.  ARGH!  I wish technology would be my friend, and not my foe - considering I've been working in this industry for some 23 years now!!

So, I guess to summarize:

Mailed: 1/25/19

Rec'd:  1/28/19

NOA1:  2/13/19

Bio Notice Issued: 2/15/19 for NEXT week (first week of March, 2019)...

Mine also says National Benefits Center. From what I’ve read, all cases are sent to the National Benefits Center (NBC) and then sent to local field offices once checking of the documents (probably looking for missing documents) and background checking are done.
