@saj2016 it was last February 11/2019. The letter says notification date was last February 15/2019 but we got the letter just this afternoon.

I assume you already know how deficient the instructions for the I-485 are about this:

The link above even leads to a 404-error page. The newest Department of State link is: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/requirements/photos.html But my hunch is that USCIS will accept eyeglasses (since DOS and USCIS are separate agencies). The following third-party page seems to support that: http://www.antaoandchuang.com/picspec.html

Many Thanks.  Without glasses it is then. Thank you.

Other people needing photo's might find this money saving tip useful.

**Update**

Feb 22 - Biometrics done. Original schedule is supposed to be on Feb 26 but tried to do walk in and luckily they allowed it. You just have to tell them your reason why you couldn’t make it on the the schedule they gave and they will decide to allow you or not.

Did you online status change?

I just checked my status earlier today and it shows “Fingerprint Review Was Completed” on my i-765

I did my biometrics today and have a question. Did you fill out any forms? I've seen a lot of people are saying you have to fill out some sort of form with biographical information?
I was only given my biometrics letter back.

Yes, I did fill out a form (Applicant Information Worksheet) asking for my name, DOB, country of birth, Gender and the likes.

hm strange, the officer just asked me verbally hair and eye color, height, weight, date of birth etc

Did he ask verbally those questions?

Not verbally. They just handed out the form to fill out after they checked the biometric letter and ID. Probably it depends on where/which state you do it. I think you’re fine, cause those things you mentioned were the same things being asked on the form.
