Hi everyone. I am an RN in the Philippines and I am currently living here in Texas. I got here in the USA with a K! visa. Now,  I am planning on taking the NCLEX-RN here in Texas. However, I have some questions regarding the process and I hope that I can find answers from people with same situation as I have.

1. Should I include renewing my license while I am accomplishing my Credential Evaluation (CGFNS)? My license is valid until Nov 2019.

2. Is it alright to do the change of name (due to marriage) while doing the credential evaluation or before I the CES?

I hope you can help me. Thank you very much!

No I haven't but I did send them an e-mail.However, they  only sent me links from their website. I have been reading their steps on how to apply for NCLEX. But since, my husband and I are planning to go back to the Ph, I am thinking of working on my requirements as well. Thank you!

if that is your intent, in addition to whatever you need to do for Texas, satisfy the Philippine requirements as well or your will find yourself on the opposite side of the problem potentially
