Hi all. My wife submitted her N400 a couple weeks back. We got the NOA and biometrics appointment letter the same day (2/13). Her biometrics is 2/28. I751 is still pending. Given the 16-20 month processing time and the potential for "extra vetting" given her nationality, I'm assuming we're looking at quite some time to get to the end.

They're saying 3 months which is awesome. In Chicago we've to wait 14 months.

Mine says 27 days there, and it is counting down as the days go by. My estimated case completion date is March 2020. These seem to be two different things.

That is what I would assume too. I was just replying to @ankitpatel :)

My local field office (Detroit) shows times between 6.5 and 13 months. I think they give you the longest estimate to be on the safe side.

Yep, I believe you are correct. My office (Jacksonville) is between 4 and 13 months, but my case showed a 13 month wait... Which moved down to 12 after I completed biometrics yesterday.

How long did it take the bio app letter to arrive after status changed online? I was on vacation and just logged in to check status and says in February 16 we scheduled you for a biometrics appointment and mailed you an appointment notice. It doesn't say when the app is and no letter yet.

I haven’t received the physical copy yet but after that message when I checked the case document tab online I could see my letter attached. That was about 2 days from when the message popped up.

Is there an official app for this so you don't have to log in on the computer all the time? All I seem to find are third-party apps. I don't want to enter my info there.

third party, not second, and a typo

When i checked my status online it shows “you successfully submitted your form” receipt number and submitted but i don’t see the estimated time or any tabs.

while n the app, it states “on Feb 16 we scheduled you for biometrics”

i received my letter on tuesday feb 19 but still no letter for my biometrics schedule.

When does the site usually update? And how long should i wait for the letter? :)

I think it took me about a week to receive the biometrics letter in the mail.

Do you have a documents tab on the my.uscis.gov site? If you do, you should be able to download a copy of the Biometrics letter from there.

Pardon my ignorance, but where would I find the information regarding how fast my local office is processing applications? I see that when the application was submitted it gave me an estimate of a year. I’ve noticed people are able to look specifically at their field office and see the processing times. I can’t seem to find the section for that on here. Thanks in advance!
