Yes. It absolutely will if he filed under 3 years. He’ll be denied and have to refile when he is a resident for 5 years.

Thank you for your answer Morgan. But he just told me him and his wife reconcile. And she will cancel the divorce today. Loll he is lucky..

From what I know, is that you are not considered divorced, until you sign the divorce papers and they are sent to the whatever department is working with divorce cases.

I think your friend would be fine. He just needs to answer honestly and everything will be good.

Hi All,

My interview yesterday went well. The CO says he recommends an approval, so I should expect my oath letter in the mail soon.

I was surprised that even though I never uploaded any documents when I filed my N-400, he did not ask for them. He only took my ID, my passport & a copy of my I-90 receipt. Not even our taxes.

Good luck to everyone else who is still waiting. I am hopeful that we will all receive interviews before the end of the year.

@morgan.croft please update me.

Thank you.

I went to my citizenship interview today (test) and I passed!!!!!

I just checked online and it says that they scheduled my naturalization ceremony but I can't see the date yet.

I'm so excited!!! I was so nervous but the test was easy peasy lemon squeezy

Lucky you and congratulations, my case is now stucked in "you attended your interview, you don't need to do anything at this time". I wonder how long will it take before they schedule my ceremony.

@FerchoGnz mine said the same thing after my interview on the 16th. I thought there was a delay because my I asked them to spell out my middle name instead of an initial.

However, it changed yesterday to "You have been Approved". Then this morning, I received another alert, I logged in and there was my Oath Ceremony date set for Nov 1st. Hang in there, and you should here something soon.
