Just got notification that my Oath was scheduled... Will post back once I have the date.

I am not on the list. I applied online Feb 2nd, Biometrics were done Feb 26th and today recieved a litter in the mail with my interview scheduled for May 6th. I'm shocked I had been told 13-14 months

Hello everyone, I had my oath on Friday the 26th , the IO’s made it such memorable one, it’s been a long journey, but like it is, with every journey, as long as there’s life there’s an end. I wish each and everyone that’s still on these journey a very fruitful and memorable end.

Hi all, 

 

I submitted my N400 application online on Feb 09, 2019. Interviewed on July 09, and online status changed to “Naturalization Ceremony Scheduled” on July 22. However, until now (July 30) there’s still no oath letter on my documents tab and still haven’t received the paper version yet. Should I call the USCIS contact center or should I wait? Thank you.

Congratulations on getting approved so fast!! May I ask you if you are in the military? Asking because my office is in Montgomery, too. but my estimated completion date is May 2020...also, did you have your biometrics in Atlanta, or in Montgomery?

I'm not a military. I won the Green Card in the lottery in 2009.

I had my biometrics in Atlanta, GA

Hi all.  We received an update yesterday.  Our N400 application has been schedule for an interview on September 4th at Tucson, Arizona.

My wife got notice online that her case has been approved and that she will get a letter with the date and time of her Oath Ceremony.

 

Hopefully more people will get their notices soon too.

Hi all, 

 

its me again. I still haven’t received my oath ceremony notice in the mail. And still no update on my online account. The last notice on my documents tab is the interview notice. Nobody replied to my post above so I’m guessing no one else experienced this before? Anyway, I sent a message to an officer using my uscis inbox. And the officer that responded to me was no help. They just said that my naturalization ceremony was scheduled on July 22 they didn’t even recognize the other part of my email saying that I didn’t received my notice both online and mail. What should I do? It has been more than a week since my ceremony was scheduled and mailed. Thanks.

Hi! Yes i think it’s better to call them. Cause during the oath taking they are asking for the letter and your gc.

oath taking: July 31,2019

 

I just want to thank Everyone for all your help. From K1 Visa to Naturalization Visajourney helped me a lot. I gained some friends and a lot of knowledge from this group. We did it! Thank God! 😁

 

For all of you that are still waiting, Your time will come. Just trust in the Lord! Try to keep yourself busy so you won’t keep checking the app or the site ( i know the feeling 😜).

Amelie, we are in the same boat. Mine is Montgomery too and my estimated completion was March 2020 when I filed. After fingerprints, it shortened to Feb 2020. Last month, it changed to April 2020. Whatever is going on there I have no clue. I wonder if I should have just waited another 5 years towards the expiry of my greencard before applying:(. Too much anxiety.

Mka19, I do feel you, but I don't think waiting another 5 years would do any good... From time to time I get that feeling too, but we just have to remember that we are legal, and nothing is really pressing. Well, this is what I try to tell myself when I get frustrated with the long waiting...I also hope that this estimated completion time will shorten again! We will get there, sooner or later! Let's keep each other updated since our cases are in the same office!
