My husband’s interview was earlier today in Louisville KY.    When we arrived, he checked in at the window they took his picture, finger prints and his IDs (Green Card, Passport, and KY Driver’s License).  His appointment was for 1:25PM they called him back around 1:30PM.   They started with the Civics/ history questions:

Who is the vice president?

What did Susan B Anthony do?

Who is the commander and chief?

He could not recall the other questions they asked him, however he said they appeared to be randomly selected by the computer.

Then the English reading and writing tests.  Read (Where is the white house located?) write (Washington DC)

After that they went over his N-400 questions.  Mostly a review of the answers he had provided on the form.  He was asked the last time he was outside of the country, when, where, and why.   The Interview lasted about 20 minutes and he was recommended for approval.

Other than his IDs he was not asked for any documents.

Please, don’t freak out if it stays like that for a while. My mom’s was the same for the longest time then she finally got “placed in line for oath ceremony” then finally oath ceremony scheduled. It between the interview and the ceremony it took a few months. Depends on the capacity. She got scheduled until the big one in LA happened. Which was two days ago luckily. It was 5,000 people at 9AM and another 5,000. It was beautiful. You already went through the tough part!

The IO told me the supervisor will make the final approval. Does he told your husband the same? Just wondering?!

Yes, He said they told him he was recommended for approval but final review is by the supervisor.

Thanks you.  Good luck with your interview.  My husband said the officer who did his interview was very pleasant.    Just a FYI because it confused my husband.  ALl of his previous appointments  (all Biometrics) were in the office on the 6th floor.  the suite for the interview listed as 390 when we got off on the 3rd floor it only listed social security offices.  so we thought it was the wrong place and went upstairs to where previous appointments had been.  They sent us back down to the 3rd floor and said to keep going thru the social security office and the immigration office we were looking for was at the far end of the hall.

Thanks for the heads up on the directions. We had our bio-metrics on the 6th floor too.

Did the time change on the online account to 11 months ? It was 10 months? I am wondering why this happened after I did my interview today ?
