Just filed... in NYC. It looks like I will have another long wait with the processing time outlook.

Applied Friday 2/1, case was updated on Saturday 2/2 and said biometrics scheduled. Letter was available online on Tuesday 2/5.

i meant i apply the feb 6th received recipt the 6th and the 9th the biometric notice.

Yes they do,

I was surprised when i filed on 2/8 and got email for biometrics scheduled on 2/9. expecting to see something in the mail this week. will keep you all updated

I sent my n-400 application last saturday, Feb 9 via USPS. 

 

My background:

- entered the US by K1 Visa January 2015

-adjustment of Status approved Sept 2015

-ROC approved November 2018

he means that he filed on 2/8 and on 2/9 they scheduled his biometrics appointment. I am not sure what date they scheduled it for though, I don't think he said.

How far out are they scheduling biometrics? I sent my application on 2/8 and will be out of the country for two weeks. I hope I don't get schedule too soon.

I think it depends on the office, but it seems to be pretty quick. They scheduled biometrics the day after I applied, and it was for 2.5 weeks later.

got my biometrics date is for the 26th this month so basically the sent me the notice on the 9th. 2.5 weeks

Hi! I just applied online, and I can see on my "You successfully submitted your form. We are processing your form. It can take up to 48 hours for all of your case information to show on your home page. We will notify you when we take an action on your case. You can edit your email and text message notification preferences in your profile."

 

My question is, when they do any status updates, like the one I am expecting to receive next is my biometrics appt being scheduled, will it update there on that same site (https://my.uscis.gov/account/applicant) or will I need to sign in somewhere else to see updates (https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/)? I'm having issues logging in to me egov account so I'm afraid I might miss something. And when they send you the biometrics notice the next day, did it tell you the date and time and everything you need, or do you still need to wait for the paper notice in the mail?

Yes. Your case status will update on the page you applied. (my.uscis.gov) It’ll tell you when they schedule you for biometrics, and you’ll also be able to download the letters they send you as well.
