I had my biometrics yesterday and this morning (7.20 am)  there was a notice of action on my case......they have scheduled my interview!!!! I just checked back and the letter was there......

 

APRIL 23RD!!!!!! 

 

5 1/2 weeks to go!! :) 

Timeline:

Dec 31st 2011- I-129F sent
August 2nd 2012- INTERVIEW- APPROVED
August 10th 2012- Visas received
August 21st 2012- P.O.E Boston!

September 11th 2012- Applied for SSN.
September 16th 2012- MARRIED!!!
September 17th 2012- Received SSN.
October 26th 2012- Sent off AOS forms.

January 16th 2013- EAD and AP card issued.
January 26th 2013- Card received in mail.

May 29th 2013- Service request, as outside of processing times.

June 25th 2013- Green card/EAD stamp received in passport. Green card production ordered!

July 5th 2013- Green card arrives :)

August 22nd 2014- Daughter Born!

April 17th 2015- I-751 Sent.

April 20th 2015- NOA 1

June 2nd 2015- Biometrics Appt.

February 2nd 2016- I-751 APPROVED! 10 Year Green card issued!

Wow! Congratulations! Where is your Field Office?( edit: nvm, I just checked ). Mine said waiting time 10 months when I checked this morning (January 2020), not it says 11 months. Hmpf.

I got a notification that my case is still reviewing and no update even I did not do my biometric yet supposes to do it 18 March.  So is this normal?

Yes. You will get inactivity notifications every 2 weeks unless you turn them off

Although I live in Maryland, my biometrics was scheduled in Alexandria VA. This was an hour away from me when the Baltimore office was just 20mins away. Not sure why, but I walked in early and got this done.

 

05/27/14 - Sent AOS package via USPS05/28/14 - Package received by USCIS06/02/14 - Text and Email NOA1s received06/06/14 - Hard copies of NOA1s received06/10/14 - Biometrics appointment received (for June 24th)06/24/14 - Biometrics completed08/06/14 - SMS/Email notifications of EAD/AP combo card in production08/11/14 - EAP/AP card received.<p>09/13/14 - "Notice of Potential Interview Waiver" received04/13/15 - AOS Approved

Hi,  yes I do have my 10 year green card. My window to apply for citizenship opened 2 years ago. I didn't apply then as I was studying for my bachelors in teaching.  I think New Hampshire has a lower number of immigrants, so it's quicker.
