Completed biometrics today. Found it really weird that the lady only took the prints of four fingers from right hand. I remember years ago for the green card it was both hands ALL fingers including thumbs.

If they have recent impressions (owing to immigration check during transit) they donot require complete prints.

What's that mean?

I mean, fine with me. My only concern is that I don't want it to be incomplete, for missing a bunch of "fingers". It would delay the process plus this office it's 2 hours away from home.

Yes you are fine.

I had the same thing when I went for mine. They said they don't need full prints as they have a record of the recent ones when I re-entered the USA from abroad at the airport.

I did completed my biometric today even though I only got the letter yesterday and was scheduled for 03/23.

I also called USCIS for update on my ROC but they said its still at CaLi and that the center still working on Aug 2017 :(

Hoping it can be pulled really soon so both can be adjudicated. My N400 status says case was viewed today obviously cos of the biometrics and it only reduced my estimated complete time from 26 months  to 25 months.

Dallas has one of the highest volume in the nation.

Hi everyone! I’m new to this forum. Apologies if this is not the right thread to post this.

I am going to be eligible to apply for N-400 this April (4y9m). My GC was under EB-1 category. I’m applying from Grand Forks which falls under MN- St. Paul Office which is the slowest. N400 takes anywhere between 15 months to 25.5 months.

Thanks everyone for posting about the online process. I will apply online. Will I get biometrics appointment notice in my online account? I travel to Canada back and forth (fiancé lives there) and if it’s only mail that will be difficult for me. Also, after applying for N-400 and receiving the receipt, how many days is the wait for biometrics appointment? Has anyone walked in before the appointment? I live in Grand Forks. Fargo has an ASC where they do biometrics. Has anyone been to this office?

Thanks!

Hello,

I am working with the St. Paul office. After I sent the packet, I got the later that stated that my case was open in a week, and the letter for my biometric appointment like a week an a half later. There was a notice on my online account too after I enter the case along with a key number that they sent on the initial letter. I did a walk in 3 days after I got the letter on the mail, and I was able to get my biometrics 1 week and a half in advance.

Now, my case says that it will be completed in about 19 months.

Same with me. I just got four fingers from my right hand, picture and signature. I am not letting in get through my head...

I have a question, guys! I got my biometrics on March 18! can I go tomorrow it is like 1 hour and a half drive and I have work at 18? what I should do? It is in Cincinnati OH office. Has anyone go before the actual date before?

Lots of people have been successful in going in early. Most people who do it are in the same city through so if they get turned away no big deal.
