Biometrics. Trying to Avoid Missing appointment

ROC reminder letter sent to long defunct address. (Yes, did address change form when we moved).
ROC Application sent Jan 7th.
Received Jan 9th
Check cashed Jan 14th.
Shortly thereafter I called USCIS and got our case number. It's an EAC Case #. (Never got e-mail for G-1145)

Online case status just says they have our case.

Does USCIS Post Notice of Biometrics Appointment online?

Many people getting Biometrics letter super fast and if they send ours to old address we will miss the appointment for sure.

No Extension letter yet, but I believe many people getting Biometric Appointment really quickly and long before their Extension letter arrives.

I think missed biometrics is super bad, so called USCIS and they said can't inform us over phone whether Biometrics scheduled or not.

I am trying to be proactive on this. Any suggestions?

Thanks. I guess it's hard to pin down when things are going to happen.

Make sure they have the correct address when you call them on the phone. Problem is not everyone gets biometrics so it's hard to say if you'll get one and when. My biometrics came few weeks before my extension letter and some got it the other way around.
