Oh, btw...little embarrassing detail...I don't want anything where my hair is not covering my neck. I've got a horrific scar from my surgery that I'm quite insecure about. It goes from the top of my head down the middle of my neck to about my shoulders.

I don't want it to show at all

Why not have lots of curls and put your hair in a pony tail with a real nice decorative piece around your pony tail. That way you have curls and your hair will cover your neck, but the style is not too wedding-y if you get my drift.

So you want a low do?

You could try something more looose ...untitled.jpg

... but putting some hair up to make it look shorter to be able to show off the backless dress.

I thought it'd be a nice hair for that dress. The dress isn't puffy for those big wedding dos.

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

Is the wedding going to be on the beach? If so, then I'd do a hairstyle that's slightly "softer" than the dress, to reflect the location. If not, then I'd definitely go with modern or glammy type hairstyles to match the dress.

This was the description from the link:

Look elegant on the beach with tumbling, loosely braided curls; wear this style with a silk-chiffon halter gown featuring an open-latticework back and embroidered floral design

 It's like they had Lisa's wedding and outfit in mind. I wonder if it would look as good on dark hair.

I know!! I bet it would look stunning.. esp if you added a few highlights in, Lisa! The braiding would really show it off.
