Oh wow that's foxxxy. That's fabric in white is going to look really striking on someone with your coloring (says my imagination)

So what's the hair that goes with the dress?

Good question, short answer: no clue!

I've got really long and thick hair....down to my lower back.

I don't want the conventional 'bridal updo' cos remember, I'm thumbing my nose at it, lol. But this dress is backless, so wearing it down would kind of defeat the purpose.

so I'm stuck!

Oh, but I did decide to not go blonde...in fact, I'm going back to my natural color...a very dark, rich brown. David will be happy cos he prefers that color the best.

apparently she's not the only one who's exicted

so we'll see the youtube link on vj, since we're all family :)

oh shush you! hahahhahah

pretty soon I'll be improperly using apostrophes for words that end in S

I am sure you will look great Lisa! How about wearing your hair similar to the way Angelina has hers in the picture?

Nah, I thought of that but it looks way too plain for me....looks like she rolled out of bed & put her hair in a ponytail. Although it looks good on her, I can't see that for our wedding day.

Oh Lisa you are being modest now  I have seen your picture, you could roll out of bed with a bag over your head and still look great ;) But I think definitely wear your hair down. I think sometimes when it is a formal occasion, women will automatically go for an updo, but loose and flowing I think is so romantic and feminine.

Lisa, that dress is beautiful and you are going to look great in it no matter what you do with your hair! When is the wedding day?

Hair... gotta wear it up, Lisa.... that accentuates the dramatic effect of the dress and elongates the neck.... you can have a trendy updo that doesn't look 'bridal'.... I really should send you pics

8-30-05 Met David at a restaurant in Germany

3-28-06 David 'officially' proposed

4-26-06 I-129F mailed

9-25-06 Interview: APPROVED!

10-16-06 Flt to US, POE Detroit

11-5-06 Married

7-2-07 Green card received

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

If you wear it up Lisa, do something that looks up swept. I just dislike that stiff helmet hair look for important occasions.

That is a gorgeous dress Lisa!

As for the hair, you can go with hair up but not typical wedding hair, too high and too full of loops.

Guys you are doing my head a world of good today, lol.

Jodo...where do I send your check? hahaha You're on my payroll now!

KJ, we just got NOA1 (yes we've been one of the slowest couples in history, lol) Dunno how things will work out and how that will fit into our schedules...if he gets his interview in mid Nov, by the time he gives notice & gets things done we're talkin mid Dec...and if that's the case, we figure he won't come til after the hols (give him one more Christmas with his family)...so if that's the case, Jan 19th. That'll actually be our 8 year anniversary.

If the interview/approval comes in Oct, he'll leave Nov, so then we'll just plan it for the week after his arrival.

I've flip-flopped over wedding plans 50 zillion times...we've finally agreed on a Key West wedding on the beach!
