Wedding dress...I got mine today.

Very nice Lisa.... I wore a backless halter dress with a plunging neckline as well.... it was a champagne color with beading on the top and on the bottom back in a v-shape.... I was seeking a similar sophisticated look and I didn't want to look too much like a 'bride'...

t!tty tape works wonders, lol. Or now we go searchin for one of those custom bras that attach around your waist. I dunno, haven't figured that one out yet.

Victoria's Secret has a bra that worked, but I had to use tape to keep the back strap low enough to it wouldn't be visible. The back had a corset lace back, so that was even more of a challenge, but it worked.

The pressure of the strap behind my neck (clear plastic strap) was too much, so by the time we were eating dinner at the reception, I had such a headache from it that I went to the ladies room and took the dammm thing off.... Didn't have as much support, but by then, I didn't really care.

cried all the way to Dunkin Donuts. The drive through guy was all like CONGRATULATIONS!!! ... im through sniffling and messy hair - what? oh yeah thanks... got my coffee and cried the whole way home. stress i guess.

The dress is more white than ivory, but not that blue white. I wanted to wear white because I wanted to thumb my nose at tradition...2nd marriage wearing ivory...nah screw that! So I purposely went for a whiter one.
