This is true. Police records are not needed if he lived in the U.S. One less thing to worry about...Lol I’m sorry I forgot you didn’t need one from the U.S. only other countries you lived in for a year or more, not 6 months. Thank you for correcting me everyone.

Yes!! you are correct! I just called them and they said only if he lived in other countries for more than 6 months or over the age of 16, but not the U.S woohoo!!  Thank you!

Turns out I was able to upload the tax account transcripts because my submission had not been reviewed by NVC

They keep it open until you submit it again.

It’s the third day payment was made and money taken from the bank. It’s still showing “in process”. Do I need to wait till end of day or morning of the fourth day?

Is there a way to get transcripts faster than the two weeks the IRS gives?

The one we need isn't available? Are we doing the wrong thing

2017 has to be available. 2018 is not available. Write a letter stating that 2018 tax transcript is not available under the tax return /transcript section in required documents. Just make sure you uploaded your W2’s with your 2017 tax transcript.

Which exact one do you need ?

The NVC is asking for a tax transcript? We called up but they can't confirm on the phone if the one we have is correct. The tax return transcript is not available online and can take two weeks
