I ask again how did you get your transcript, online or by mail Pls. Because my husband has been trying but they said they can't pull out his file

https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript

I got mine by mail, not everyone qualifies for an online transcript. You can call and request one as well.

Sounds good. If you have someone to use as a sponsor I would use one. Provide your 1099 with your 2017 taxes. You will have to know how strict your Embassy is on income to see if your income will qualify.  I wouldn’t risk it. I would get a sponsor. My Embassy is strict on income even if you meet the guidelines. You still have to submit your tax documents.

Since nvc just received your case, you will have to wait 6-7 weeks to get your case number. Until then, i would assume your 2018 tax return transcript would be available assuming u already filed your taxes electronically.  If not then u will need a co sponsor. Note: tax return transcripts are now mandatory for both petitioner and co sponsor. For civil documents make sure u ask your wife to get police clearance certificate from passport office ahead of time because i know in india, they can take forever with preparing such documents as u know too how india operates....smh....other than that, everything is pretty simple. You can go on nvc website to see what supporting documents you need. Feel free to ask me questions once u receive your case number and invoice id. You can start calling nvc after two weeks they receive your case, maybe they can give u case number over the phone.

Hi JEET_S,

Can you please let me know what paperwork if any did your wife, have to show at the Passport Office in Mumbai when she had gotten the Police Cleaner Certificate?

Does the I-130 approval notice work if they ask for anything to show why the Police Cleaner Certificate is needed?

Also, how long did you take your wife to receive the certificate from the Passport Office?

Correct! You do not need both of them if one can qualify alone. One I-864a.  It will ask for the individual income, provide that. Use the W2 to show the separate income.

Hi got a question if I file taxes jointly with my husband and my own income is enough to sponsor my mum does he need to be a joint sponsor? If not needed can I use i-864ez? TIA

You can show your W2’s which will separate your income from your husbands. You can use I-864ez with just your income. Make sure you can answer yes to the 3 questions asked.

Ok, well just use your current proof of income to show what you are making now along with your tax transcripts and W2’s. Current Paystubs and a job letter also.

This is what I saw, maybe that's why so many people are having issues  IRS pulling out their transcript. NVC will not understand this.

I ordered my tax transcript and tax account transcript 2 days ago without a problem. I thought I lost it, so I ordered it again. It takes 5-8 days to come.
