That’s what I had my husband do too. He just has one more HepB to get. Getting the police certificate has been a headache, it’s been 4 months and it’s still not ready in St.Mary....SMH We might go to Duke st and get same day.

I dont get. I tought there was only return transcript which was the tax transcript

You have a 1040 tax return and a Tax transcript. The government provides us with our transcript based on what we submitted on our tax return 1040. The 1040 is printed once we file our taxes.

4th of February. I thought everything was accepted but it isn't. They want a tax transcript not the return transcript that we sent.

NVC just changed this....SMH

How do you get just the transcripts? Surely it's the same thing

Hi. I would like to know which one to get too. On the IRS website you have a choice as follows: It states ‘you may order a tax return transcript and/or a tax account transcript’

I would get both and include them together. The tax account will show if you made any changes or if you owed, got a refund or paid on an amount owed. The tax return transcript is what you want though.

https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript

The transcript is a summary of the tax return that the government compiles together. It is looked at as a document created by the government, therefore unable to be fraudulent like a tax return.
