Basically the lady at the interview told me to upload the divorce papers to ceac and upload the affidavit of support all in one file instead of several documents and once done email the embassy?

is that even possible to do?

thank you.

Do you know why they asked you to do that?

Also, when taking in the AOS to the embassy, did you take photocopies?

I have no idea why they asked me to do so but I just did it and emailed the embassy and it was all good after.

I took the original signed AOS with me but they never even asked to see it.

Ok. Me too. I have to upload proof of Domicile because my Embassy requires it, not NVC. I have to upload my passport or my birth certificate for the Embassy as proof of Domicile. The Embassy will not accept my drivers license as proof.

how do you know that the embassy requires it. i did not upload it. am worried now that we may get rfe

It’s on the Embassy’s website. You can take it to your interview, it’s not an NVC requirement if you live in the U.S. so no RFE for it.

Wait  that’s less than 2 weeks, i submitted mine 2/7. So when could I get a case complete?

2/21-2/25 You fall close to a weekend. It’s taking about 2-2.5weeks for Case complete with no RFE’s or rejections.
