Also to others, please make sure you submit your W2 even if they say it is not needed if you submit tax transcript. Make sure you submit W2 AND transcript. I was asked to upload W2s for 2017.

I didn't notice it before but after checking the requirements for the financial documents on the NVC website, I found out that if you filed taxes under married filing jointly category, you still need to submit W2 forms along with the tax transcript. Perhaps, this is the reason why they asked you to submit W2's too.

Sounds great! NVC is now requiring W2’s with all transcripts.

I shouldn’t say all transcripts, but with the current tax year transcript which is 2017 for us.

So, I've heard that you don't need to give them Proof of US Domicile if your address on Affidavit of Support (i864 or i864a) is a USA address.

 

Is this correct?

 

Because it felt weird to just not upload anything for that in the CEAC Portal.

That’s what the instructions online says, but who knows NVC doesn’t follow their own instructions. It wouldn’t hurt to upload it especially for your sponsor. Their tax return will show their address is in the U.S. 

please review.

Your address is in the U.S. you don’t need to show Domicile. You completed I-864ez?

Knowing NVC can be 🙄 about instructions, even thou I know they can see that I have a U.S address. I uploaded proof of domicile. But I think you should be fine .

Ok. Me too. I have to upload proof of Domicile because my Embassy requires it, not NVC. I have to upload my passport or my birth certificate for the Embassy as proof of Domicile. The Embassy will not accept my drivers license as proof.

Did you upload the front page of the tax transcript that explains what it is or just the transcript itself?
