hello everyone, please i want to know if i will need W2 for the interview ??!, my husband submitted just transcript and it was accepted and case Complete on jan 28.

i want to make sure that they will not ask for it later.

thank you in advance

W2’s are not required when you submit transcripts to NVC unless they request for them. The Embassy could ask for them though. Embassy’s tend to be more strict than NVC. You will have to know your Embassy’s requirements.

Hello,

I submitted all documents to NVC on Jan 21st and got first feedback yesterday Feb 6th (16 days).

Several documents were rejected, and I was wondering if any of you could explain the message: "Please add XX as a Joint sponsor as submit all of their documents under their name"

Did I miss a step? What is the process for adding a joint sponsor? Also, for the passport they mention the name "Casey," but there is no one called Casey anywhere in my file...should I just assume it's a mistake on NVC's part?

And finally, they sent me a message asking for my proof of employment. In the original batch of documents I included a letter stating that I am employed in France and that my job will not continue after I move to the U.S.

Am I still expected to show pay stubs, contracts, etc. for my job in France?

Thank you so much for your help and patience !!!!

You were suppose to add your joint sponsors name and NVC will approve them and make a category where you upload their documents.

Was the passport in Craig’s Name that you submitted. Just request for them to be a joint sponsor, then submit all documents under their name. Go to add applicant. https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/PDF-other/Uploading to CEAC-instrucions.pdf

Every years tax transcript should be uploaded separately under Tax return/Transcript and saved under the tax year.

Thank you for your reply, it's okay to submit 2017 only right? One would suffice already? Thanks again.

Yes, 2017 alone is fine. Just make sure you submit W2 with 2017 tax transcript.

My husband (the petitioner) received his tax transcript 2017 and there's only my last name shown in the document. His last name isn't mentioned anywhere. Does anybody know if it is normal? The status is married filing jointly.

That's the new norm to comback fraud and identity theft.
