what did you include in your statement?  I have just finished my master and i am unsure what to include in this section.

I would just explain that you were in college and the degree you were working on.

I worked on them concurrently and pretty much submitted one after the other. Maybe 5 mins apart

Oh ok. Wow! I didn’t realize it could all be done at the same time. How soon after payment is made can you complete DS-260 and upload documents? I’m going to see my husband in Jamaica around the time I will get my case number, so I’m trying to judge my time..Lol Thank you for all your help.

You are most welcome and hope you have an enjoyable trip!

To answer your question, it took 3 days for the Payment to process  after payment.

I advise the second you get your number , go an pay both fees ASAP! Cause you are left in a holding pattern till they process the payment

You should. Get Case complete, then the next month Interview. No later than 2 months though for interview. We have a lot of people here from the Jamaican Embassy.

We just explained our situation and why my husband didn’t file taxes (he hasn’t been working).

Do all embassies take roughly a month to get an interview after CC?

Hoping the embassy in New Zealand will have plenty of interview times available.

No, not every Embassy. New Zealand should have interview dates available though. High fraud countries usually have delays. Usually interview dates are at the end of a month, unless the Embassy has openings earlier.

Do I need to translate civil documents (They’re in Spanish)? If so do I need to translate the biographical portion of the passport as well?

All documents have to be translated to English. You have to include a copy of the original and the translated document.

Yep! Some people get Case complete, then interview date in 2 weeks in the same month. Very exciting. Jamaica has a lot of K1 visa interviews.

Does anyone know what the case complete to interview timeframe is for China? I haven't seen much info on the country forum. Anyone with recent experience?
