Received biometrics notice today from Vermont Service Center.  Code 5, scheduled for the 26th of March.

You won't receive a letter for the children.  They are covered by your husband's extension letter.  If you filed the children with your husband's I-751 they need to go to the Biometrics appointment with your husband.

In my case that is incorrect. I thought that was the case but the minor children receive  their own case number, and noa, and an extension as well. If you scroll up to earlier posts you will see related posts results of phone call to uscis...

I talked to USCIS and the officer did say my children have a different case number but to bring them to the biometrics appointment when there mother goes.  He also said that the I-751A in reality is not a "real" form.  No where will you find anything stating a I-751A form.

It says it right on my uscis case status online. You were not informed properly. See attached screenshot. 751a is Feinstein a real number. You are right about biometric appointment. But if the extension letter and noa attached a minor, the A number would note it. Amen you call you have to ensure you speak to a tier 2. They also have to submit an internal form and you get a receipt number

Hi,

 

I received a NOA yesterday to say they "have completed a preliminary review of the petition and are transferring my case to the national benefits office (it was previously in California). Is this just a normal part of processing? It says it is in the letter. I just wasn't expecting to hear anything other than a bio notice or nothing for a year!

Good news. The similarities with G2R are uncanny. 
 

I received a text message that my case was received 18 days after they received the package.
