Congrats!  The case status won't change online until after you attend and complete your biometrics.

I am not sure what you mean by pop it back in a box with new form of payment or redo the full package...sounds like the same thing.  I don't see any reason why you can't include a check from your wife's bank account...simple attach check and mail again.  I suggest you also include Form G-1145, E-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance so you can be notified by text or email when they receive your application.

Based on the timelines we've been seeing recently, I think it depends on the service center that your application is sent to.

Nice, congrats!

Congrats!

My case also went to MSC, and received the biometrics appt about a week after NOA....but I also think it depends on your location and volume of applicants going for biometrics at the Application Support Center (ASC)....remember, there are other folks going for biometrics for citizenship, etc

You would have to notify USCIS of your change of address and it's likely you may receive biometrics appointment before June.

I-130 (for parents of US Citizens):

8/19/2022: NOA (IOE0917XXXXXX); Texas Service Center

7/22/2023: Both (parents) petitions approved

7/27/2023: Both cases sent to NVC

8/8/2023: Received NVC welcome email for both parents

From reading previous threads regarding biometrics appointments, it would seem that sometimes it's not necessary and they use previously taken prints. Also note, they barely communicate this unless asked.

If this will be the case for some of us, the fee of $85 will not be refunded.

I'm busy reassuring myself because I haven't received my bio appointment yet and I travel on Wednesday.

My application was rejected for problems processing my credit card... do I just pop it back in a box with a new form of payment or do I re do the full package? Also can I send a check from my wife’s bank account for my petition because I don’t have a checkbook in my name?

Hi. I was just wondering how long did it take for you to get your application back from the day they received it? And did you know it was rejected before you received it. I am asking because my application was delivered 18 days ago and ever since then I didnt hear anything. So I am not sure if they will reject mine too. I have no means of finding out what happened to it as they dont give any information on the phone.
