No. But I also don't recall seeing the embassy email anybody and say their visa was issued.

Updates are sometimes not reliable. I suspect that's because a person has to pull the trigger to update. What if they went for coffee and forgot that last bit? My greencard approval didn't update for over a year after it arrived in the mail unannounced. Surprise greencard.

Even if your CEAC didn't update, the visa would still have finished the process of going to the courier within 2 days. It seems more like it hasn't been issued yet. It is a very puzzling case. You may have already said, but have you had a congressman inquire and include the email asking London why the email was sent saying the visa was issued but it has not yet received? A specific question like that might give you more information than "What is the status of case LNDXXXXXXXXXX?".

This is the email we got nearly 3 weeks ago now. Last week we then got another email saying we are still in AP. So we're kinda losing our mind at this point. I've requested another follow up with my senator including this email as backup but that can take 3 or 4 weeks for a response.

Most likely the person who answered  read your question and assumed your visa was issued and answered your main question about if the embassy needed a new US address for you, which would be no they don't. That would be a question (about address) they could answer without even looking at your case.  My thoughts are that the email specifically addressing your AP is the correct one.

The original email was more of a "The US citizen has now moved to XXX address. Please update as intended living address and confirm receipt of this message"

The more recent one was along the lines of "we were told via email visa has been issued but the CEAC has not updated or been provided any official update. Please update our case... " so on.. really disappointing. Was really looking forward to the tax return going to some honeymoon events rather than another trip to the UK.

Just out of curiosity, do you have a lawyer?

Just found this, "If a SAO (AP) has been pending more than 90 days, an attorney can inquire via email to the DOS LegalNet within the Visa Office or call DOS at 202-485-7600" https://pennstatelaw.psu.edu/sites/default/files/documents/pdfs/Immigrants/Administrative-Processing-FAQ.pdf - not sure if this might be another option?

Our 90 days will be at the end of next week. I've been researching lawyers the only one I reached out to told me to just refer back to my senator since I already got her involved. I don't know if they just don't want to deal with AP or that's good info but that's what I am doing first then going to consult with a bigger law firm.

I don't think a lawyer or a senator can get you out of AP.  If they inquire about the case, they will be told you are in AP. That is the only info to give out at this time. I don't know of anybody in 10 years who ever found out from the Embassy in London (Dept of State) why they were in AP, or how much longer.  Save the money on the big time lawyer for a honeymoon. Or save it for AOS. Do you already have that $1225 put aside?

We used to call DOS and get all kinds of info, but that was before CEAC existed and people over used them. Then they quit taking calls. If you can get them to stay on the line and listen to your pleas, maybe that will tell you the answer to your question about email saying Issued vs email saying approved. But my logic still  thinks that address question was not a for real you are issued. If it was really issued, you would have the visa.  If DOS talks to you, they aren't going to tell you any specifics or how much longer. AP this long is some kind of security matter and not if you passed your medical or your relationship looks dodgy. The interviewing officer already felt like all that was in order.

Yep, we've had it on hand since we filed the 129f last February 😅

It is a misnomer to say they were approved on the spot. The interviewer was satisfied all the proper documentation was provided and had no issues with the brief interview part. But nobody can really feel approved until the visa is issued.

Also many in this forum didn't have a medical in their file on interview day. They were part of those threads stressing on it taking too long so it seemed like everybody in London was being delayed. But if you press through and start booking things while the case is still at NVC, you can screw things up and end up delayed.

For those with extra long AP, there is an issue of some kind that we may never know about. And I don't personally know these people or their background or have read their entire application files so any speculation is merely guessing. I don't personally think London suddenly dropped the ball with processing all visas. I'm not diminishing the angst it causes the ones waiting, especially when the reason will never be shared with them.

My medical was in my file.

Only things we can think may be delaying us is my name changes or verifying Chayne's income (tax return and pay slips and letters from the bank provided) .  Or my son being an   IT security student (not coming with)

i know we don’t know and won’t ever know but we aren’t a security risk so this wait is frustrating.

We are just about in the same boat. Interview on Jan 28. Medical was there. I (petitioner) actually went in to the embassy with my fiance and could hear everything. They didn't ask for any financials. Told we would be approved and get something in 7-10 days. No piece of paper given to us. And we've been in NIV AP since Jan 29.
