Rescheduling Interview SF Office

Is it possible at all to be on call for an immigration interview.  

The situation is that my husband and I both work very close to the office, so if there is a cancellation we could be there in 10 min or less.


Asking because they scheduled us for an interview at time I already had work travel booked.  Want to reschedule but I am afraid of this horror story situation where they reschedule for 3+ months out, and the EAD renewal does not happen in time and My husband can't work.

I don't think any office does interview on call, but did you call USCIS and find out? I think that's your best bet
