well I am pregnant now with my 2nd (first with Adnan) and although we are both SUPER excited I have also wondered several times if I am completely insane to start over. My son will be 12 when this one arrives, can you imagine having an adolescent and an infant at the same time :P

I'm \trying for an infant and 18 yr old  I figure I'll have a built in babysitter, at least until my son leaves home for college. :crying:

thanks guys :)

Maggie you have me beat in the age gap but actually its pretty funny. My son keeps reading all the baby manuals and giving me helpful pointers. I sometimes have to remind him that I have, in fact, done this before :P

Jess, that would be cool wouldnt it to share a baby b-day but for some reason I think its going to come a little early. No factual basis for this, just a feeling or maybe just wishful thinking. I DO think its a girl, I'll find out for sure in the next couple of weeks (waiting for my doc to call me with the ultrasound appt), but I keep thinking its girl, Adnan had a dream its a girl, and a couple of weeks ago my sister told me out of the blue that she also thinks its a girl, so we'll see. I'm going to have one of those cool 3D unltrasounds at the doctor's suggestion as I am over 35 but I cant wait, I think it will be awesome!

anyway thanks again for the well wishes, we are happy!

Aww.. Congrats

I am DYING for a girl.. I hope i can have one as soon as possible.. I am having MAJOR baby cravings.. and I think it would be PERFECT timing with my boys

ok firstly i have know idea what the name of that place was..i. just know there was an upstairs and a downstairs and we ate upstairs. it was a pretty cool place.

secondly I need a boy!!!! This house has too many female hormones floatin' around including the cat!! lol

I did this thing when I was pregnant with my first baby. Someone told me to take a necklace and hold it over my tummy and let it hang still...no movement............then watch. It freaked me out and I never did it again 'cause I think it's like a weegie board type thing :blink::blink: but when it starts to move....not having anything to do with you mind you it just moves on it's own....if it goes in a circular motion you are going to have a girl and if it just shifts side to side it's a boy.............also.........................it's supposed to happen in the number of times that you are going to have a baby. For me it did a circle and stopped, then a circle than stopped, then side to side and then nothing more. That means two girls and a boy. Well when I got my tubes tied I was like, well that was silly since obviously I'm not having anymore kids since I'm married and have my tubes tied...................but...............................................

Just a tip for moms with children with large age gaps - don't call your older child "built-in babysitter" to their face. I was 17 when my little sister was born and being called that really made me feel horrible sometimes... JMHO...

Congrats, Sara!
