Hi,

I have finally completed everything and I am ready to send my application today. Before sending it, I check the visajourney.com's check list which includes a few extra documents than USCIS guides for documents. For instance :

in I-130:

4. Copy of the Full Birth certificate (front and back) for the US Citizen or a copy of ALL pages of the US Citizen's passport. This is used to establish citizenship

DO I NEED TO SEND COPY OF BLANK PAGES?

7. A copy of the intending immigrant's birth certificate and/or passport along with English translation. (If in any language other than English)

THIS IS MENTIONED IN I-130 GUIDE, DO I NEED TO SEND IT?

8. A certified copy of your certified marriage certificate (again, translated if not in Engligh)

THE GUIDE DOESNT MENTIONED "CERTIFIED COPY", DO I HAVE TO SEND A CERTIFIED COPY?

14. One passport-type photo (see specification) of the foreign spouse. Write the full name of the beneficiary on the back.

THE GUIDE DOESNT ASK FOREIGN SPOUSE PHOTO, DO I NEED TO SEND IT?

in I-485

4. Copy of the non US Citizen Spouses Passport (biographical page as well as entry stamps).

THE GUIDE DOESNT ASK FOR THE PASSPORT, IT ONLY ASKS VISA. DO I NEED TO SEND COPY OF ALL PAGES OF MY PASSPORT?

7. A certified copy of your marriage certificate. (If filing for your spouse)

AGAIN, DO I NEED TO SEND A CERTIFIED COPY?

Thank you.

in I-130:

4. Copy of the Full Birth certificate (front and back) for the US Citizen or a copy of ALL pages of the US Citizen's passport. This is used to establish citizenship

DO I NEED TO SEND COPY OF BLANK PAGES?

No.

7. A copy of the intending immigrant's birth certificate and/or passport along with English translation. (If in any language other than English)

THIS IS MENTIONED IN I-130 GUIDE, DO I NEED TO SEND IT?

No. Not for the I-130. Read the instructions on the I-130, and send what is requested in those instructions.

8. A certified copy of your certified marriage certificate (again, translated if not in Engligh)

THE GUIDE DOESNT MENTIONED "CERTIFIED COPY", DO I HAVE TO SEND A CERTIFIED COPY?

A photocopy of the certified copy is all that is needed, not an original "certified copy".

14. One passport-type photo (see specification) of the foreign spouse. Write the full name of the beneficiary on the back.

THE GUIDE DOESNT ASK FOREIGN SPOUSE PHOTO, DO I NEED TO SEND IT?

Again, read the instructions on the I-130. Yes, this photo is required. If the VJ guide doesn't mention something but the I-130 instructions do, guess which one you should follow. (Hint: Its the I-130 instructions!)

in I-485

4. Copy of the non US Citizen Spouses Passport (biographical page as well as entry stamps).

THE GUIDE DOESNT ASK FOR THE PASSPORT, IT ONLY ASKS VISA. DO I NEED TO SEND COPY OF ALL PAGES OF MY PASSPORT?

Send the visa page(s) and the passport info page.

7. A certified copy of your marriage certificate. (If filing for your spouse)

AGAIN, DO I NEED TO SEND A CERTIFIED COPY?

A photocopy of the cerfified copy. Do you know what a certifed copy is? If you have an official copy of your marriage certificate on colored/embossed paper from the county clerk's office, that is the "certified copy". You only need send a photocopy of this.

DO I NEED TO SEND COPY OF BLANK PAGES?

Many do.

Totally unnecessarily. A terrible waste of trees as well. The I-130 simply asks for a "copy of the current passport", although that language is a little unclear, I've never heard of anyone who just submitted the info page getting denied I-130.

THE GUIDE DOESNT ASK FOR THE PASSPORT, IT ONLY ASKS VISA. DO I NEED TO SEND COPY OF ALL PAGES OF MY PASSPORT?

Send the visa page(s) and the passport info page.

From the Non USC passport you will be sending the first page any entry stamps (as asked for) you will also be copying the visa and front and back of the I-94(w) which is often stapled in the passport.
