Hi here's my report!

 

Date & Time:2/14/2020 8:30am

Arrive: 7:45 am

Seated:8:15 am

Start: 10am (Mainly waiting for sen. Wyden to show up)

Finish: 10:30am

 

I noticed there are another group of people waiting outside so I assume the 8:30am group got split into 2 like previous ceremony.

 

Applied passport on the same day, being done with USCIS is the best Vday gift!

Has anyone had an interview scheduled for this month/next month only to have it cancelled because of the covid? Just got the email today - guess I'll have to wait to get the 'official' cancelled/rescheduled interview. 😪

I received a text last night about interviews getting rescheduled. Mine hasn't been scheduled yet so I presume it was just a mass text update to every N400 applicant.

Seems like the logical measure to me.

~AOS : 09/11/2014 - 2 YR Green card received!.

~ROC : 07/13/2017 - 10 YR Green card received!.

~N-400 : 10/28/2020 - N400 Interview & Approval/Oath Ceremony/US Citizen!

 

More Importantly, I am a proud Anti-Fascist!

They haven't scheduled mine yet. I just received a text message from USCIS notifying us they were rescheduling all interviews and closing their ASC offices.

I filed my N-400 application online on Tuesday night and it was accepted on the 6th. Currently, it says that an estimated completion time for my case is 7 months (December 2020). Fingers crossed 🤞

May 5, 2020 Filed N-400 online 

May 6, 2020 NOA was sent to me. Estimated case completion time December 2020 (7 months)

May 11, 2020 A hard copy of NOA was received

December 22, 2020 Biometric reuse notice was issued

December 31, 2020 A hard copy of the biometric reuse notice was received

February 4, 2021 Received an update online that the interview is scheduled for March 16th

February 8, 2021 A hard copy of the interview letter was received

March 16, 2021 The interview was completed successfully 

March186 2021 The Oath Ceremony and the end of my immigration journey 😊

Has anyone received or seen any recent updates from Portland. I know there's been a pause due to Covid-19 but it looks like many states have resumed scheduling interviews, oath ceremonies etc. With Portland it's a complete black box.

Before the shut-down, I had a completion date of May 2020. I'm at the awaiting interview stage. There's been no movement on my case from Portland so far. Hopefully, something will start moving soon.

I feel like Portland basically ground to a complete halt. No updates, nothing.

It was a quick interview and oath right after, with the same officer that gave me the interview. I got my naturalization certificate 10 minutes after the oath is done. Just thought I'd share. I had the same frustration for a while.

 

Next is Beaverton city hall to apply for passport.
