I went and had my medical done yesterday while my case still at NVC.  (hopefully it gets shipped out today).  We don't even need a case number for our medical here in Croatia. Doctor is taking my medical documents to embassy tomorrow. 

A week ago I emailed  my consulate and they sent me packet 3 by email and told me they will call me for an interview as soon as they receive the case so I think it all depends on your embassy and the way they operate. Good luck!

i think im the only one here the embassy forget to send me a letter or mail for the interview  !!!

It's shipment Tuesday. Shipments will leave today and tomorrow. You can check your shipment through a DHL Hack that I will post below. REMEMBER you will not have results from DHL for 24 hours until such times as NVC and DHL computers sync. So don't be discourage. If your ceac.state.gov account shows in transit, trust that it is in transit. Good luck to everyone who has been given a case number. Further instructions can be found on the first page, first post of this thread.

 

If you do not make this shipment date, the next date is April 16.

 

Try and refrain from posting screen shots of your CEAC page showing in transit. We all know what it looks like and we promise to take your word.  This keeps the thread tidy. Thanks everyone.

There is no time other than when your record is complete for processing it to be shipped to the embassy. Be patient. In transit occurs throughout the day and some times on Wednesday.

Once your case shows "Ready" then you email the consulate and request an interview. Include your name, fiancés name, case number and that you're looking to schedule a K1 Fiance Visa interview. I heard they'll email you back within 2 weeks or so but some have heard back the same day that they sent the email. 

 

When they email you back they'll tell you when your appointment is. Attached will be packet 3. Includes a list of doctors to choose from for the medical , your rights and your appointment letter. At that point - just get your papers together. Usually your fiancé gets the police records in a week. Court records same day. Celabecy letter same day. And birth cert in the same day. Once you have them, then dropped them off to be translated. Picked them up in a week. Already you're at 2 weeks for gathering the fiancés paperwork. On top of that make sure your fiancé sends you their documents (I-134, proof of relationship, taxes, pay stubs, letter from employer, updated letter of intent..).

Your the first that I have heard was able to complete the medical while the case file was still with NVC. I think you will have your visa by the end of the week at this pace.  Croatia is one of the embassy's that I do not have a packet 3 from. Any chance you would contribute a copy of the P3 so that I can help others who are coming behind you? Just PM me here on VJ for my email address. Thank you
