With the interview scheduled so suddenly, on April 9th, we are in such a wonderful crunch!  We weren't sure if  Neil was going to have to change it, but has booked his medical for the day before, so he is going ahead with it! This is it! Soon, he will be on his way!

How quick is the turn around time for medical in your country?

Mine (DR) is 5 business days.

Do you mean to get the results? They told Neil 3 to 5 business days.

Yes, the results. Aren't they needed to be submitted at the time of interview at your embassy? Unless I read you wrong, the interview is the day after medical.

Yes. We know it's close, but they only notified us of the interview date on Friday. That gives us a very small window in which to do the medical. They are going to do the interview anyway and approve it 3-5 days later, when the results get to them.

Thank you all for the support. I'm so thankful for all of the support that we've received during this process. 🤗🤗🤗🤗

She's got all her documents perfect to the T. the only "off" thing is her last name being transliterated different on her passport by one letter, which of course has us worried, but we've been assured by people that it's no big deal and they'll just correct it at the Embassy if they need to, so we're waiting to find out if that's correct. Everything else should be smooth, interview should be a breeze for her. I think she knows me better than I do, so there shouldn't be anything that stumps her.

Fantastic news for you guys! Where is Neil getting his medical? If he’s in Sydney I just saw Dr Aldous - she was lovely and the whole team at the medical centre were wonderful. It was very efficient.
