Our NOA2 had my A number..I got way too excited about that 😂  but when I filled out the DS - 160 last week, I don't recall it asking for the A nr? So haven´t used the A number yet. Are the DS-160  different from country to country?

The DS - 160 is not different by embassy. It is all the same. The exception is the questions change as you go along and answer them so the questions may be specific to that embassy that you have your interview in.

Does it ask for the A number? If no don't worry.  If yes you can go back in and correct it prior to your interview or correct at your interview.  Either is ok.

Since I'm going to the interview with my fiance  I'm second guessing the paperwork. Do I also have to bring an original of my birth certificate from the US or just my fiance as the beneficiary needs his birth certificate?

The financial information and maybe a letter of intent is required from the USC. Check your P3 letter for the letter of intent requirements.  Some embassies require it others do not.

Thank you!!! Yes I have my affidavit of support, paycheck stubs, and we will just write new letter of intent letters since we will be together better safe than sorry

The next shipping date is April 2nd. Follow the information on the first of this thread. Once your case is set to ready at USEM then you can book your medical and interview. Stay in touch with Hank's website for everything you will need for the interview at USEM. http://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/k-1-visa-application.html. Email doesn't come from NVC until after your case is shipped. So normally expect about 2 weeks after.

Our latest update, in case it's helpful to anyone: NVC assigned our case # on 18 March, so I assumed we wouldn't go out in the 19 March shipment and would be going out 2 April. Then on 26 March we got an email from NVC saying that our petition was being sent to the embassy in Turkey (though CEAC status was still "at NVC"). On 28 March we got an email from the embassy saying they had received it and referring us to the generic K-1 website for instructions. So basically, no formal P3 letter (so odd!). Here is the specific wording from the email:

Please click on https://tr.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/fiancee-visa/ for "Instructions for K1 Visa applicants". A separate paper instruction packet will not be sent.

I followed the links and maybe I dug deeper into the requirements then you did and yes the embassy is not going to send you separate paper instructions because they have included everything in that link including the P3 letter. I'm always amazed at how this works between the different embassies.
