They told her 3-5 days for the passport to be ready. Questions were very basic, where we met, things we did, where and when engaged, our plans as far as the future, if I sent her any type of support while we were waiting, a little or a lot, asked about her engagement ring, if I had met her parents and family. She speaks intermediate English but the interviewer conducted the interview in Russian which I think was really a relief to her. She said everyone was very kind and non intimidating. The 160 information and form wasn’t looked at or referenced. She said he thumbed through the 134 but never really looked at our trip packets or other information. Upon closure he welcomed her to the US.

That's great news, I'm sure you are so relieved. What questions did they ask her? Please post back how long it takes for her passport to be ready. Kris has her interview on Monday and we're hoping she gets hers back by the weekend so she can fly in Saturday or Sunday, but it'll be close. It'll either be ready Friday or Monday, but that one workday makes a whole week difference on when she can be here.

I’ll let you know when they tell us it’s ready. Maybe the estimates are conservative like the others ))

I tried to direct this question towards others using the Jordan embassy but there aren’t many 😅 but my case has been ready for a week now and the embassy emailed me that I’m ready to schedule an appointment but when we do it just says no appointments available it doesn’t even give options like months later. Has this happened to anyone before? My fiancé has been checking constantly for a week! It even told him he’s reaching the maximum amount of tries before he’s locked out.

I see. I guess the best we can all do is be patient. The process seems never ending. After you get your visa, you apply for adjustment of status which has been very slow process. people have waiting for their gc for months.

Does this look familiar? Are we waiting for an interview appointment letter, email, or ? Possibly carrier Pigeon??  I've gotten some of my dates wrong as well because of my inability to check online data in a timely fashion. Just looking for a few thoughts on this, and thanks for your time. NVC3.jpg.4fdc4f5acb218f6fdc88047df4deb78b.jpg
