If you haven't gotten your email yet, it could still be coming. Our case showed "In Transit" on the CEAC tracker this morning, but I didn't get the email until this afternoon. Congratulations to everyone who's case is on its way to their embassy!

It's taking around 30+ days just to receive a case number. The NVC send date to the consulate really just depends on when you received your case number.

Since they ship out cases to the consulate  every two weeks on Tuesdays and 3/05 was the next Tuesday scheduled, if we had maybe received our case number on Monday, 02/25 or Tuesday, 02/26...we probably would have made the 3/05 shipment and only had to wait a week. But instead, since they approved on Thursday, 2/28, we unluckily missed whatever cutoff they had established making our wait almost 3 weeks. It just comes down to luck and good timing.

So ours was 30 days to receive a case number, then additional 19 days just to get it sent to the consulate.

good to know. Thanks

By the way, is it necessary to have petitioner's wet signature on Affidavit of Support? My fiance sent me some papers including new letter of intent to marry and Affidavit of Support, all with wet signature at the mid of February via USPS priority mail. But it still didn't get to me. Tracking information was last updated on 7th of March saying it had arrived at JFK and it's in transit to destination. But it's been 5 weeks and it's not in my country yet. Is there any way we can know where the package is? So frustrated.  Probably should have used DHL for that.. may be it's ok to bring scanned copies to the interview?

I described my experience with I-134 here

Note that it was for Kyiv, and Tashkent might do things differently but in general you shouldn't be needing "wet" signatures on I-134. Do remember that there is a new edition of form I-134, if your Interview happens after 6 of May, you have to use new form. https://www.uscis.gov/i-134

Hey everyone! For those getting ready for the interview, I friend of mine that went through the same process gave me this list of possible questions. I hiope it helps! Good luck everyone!
Interview Questions

Be careful as a few of those suggested questions are designed to trip up a person. I'd be very cautious!!!!

I attempted to schedule the interview today, but apparently something got messed up with the transfer. It was giving an error, like what people get when they haven't waited long enough before trying to schedule. I used the query tool, because after 2 weeks we definitely should not be getting that error. Response was that they have no record of that payment in their system. ugh.. . They said I needed to send them a copy of the receipt, but I don't really know what will happen. They wanted a scanned copy, but I just sent a photo of it, so hopefully they accept that. I'm gonna be really pissed if we end up having to pay that fee again. I don't know why this fee isn't just something that can be paid online, it's so stupid.

i think it has to show READY at the embassy or CEAC for you to be able to access it. Your packet just got sent today right? Give it till Friday and try it again. You should be there by then

RoC sent 10/30/21

NOA 11/16/21

Check Cashed 11/18/21

Same. I got An email with NVC case number on the 13th. Thought we would make the 19th shipment but who knows. Either way Kate is going for her medical tomorrow. And we will be all set for the interview.

Iryna is scheduled for 8 a.m. on the 27th still.  I'm sure the packet will be there by then.  She will turn in her notice at work after she receives her verbal approval acknowledgement so we may have another 4 weeks of wait but at least the planning can begin.  I have noted that Turkish Airlines allows two checked bags as part of the ticket price.  Their prices seem to be very competitive right  now flying through Istanbul.

the only thing i discovered about Turkish, at least departing from Zaporozhye is there is a looong layover, it might have changed since the last time i checked though. not sure how the new airport is, but man, i LOVED Ataturk

So wanted to share, NVC stated package in transit tried DHL format listed at the begining  Feb NOA2 with no success found an old post from 2018 that stated try MMM YYYY and a letter a thru z after the year and country using a possible interview month  I used Apr and there was tracking for package leaving Portsmouth 18 March heading to BKK. Not sure if this is right but it corresponds with my NVC in transit info. Has anybody else heard of this way to track NVC DHL shipments to Embassies.

I tried your way and nothing came up. If you wait 24 hours the hack that I posted that you initially referred to does work just not on the day of the shipment.
