By the way, is it necessary to have petitioner's wet signature on Affidavit of Support? My fiance sent me some papers including new letter of intent to marry and Affidavit of Support, all with wet signature at the mid of February via USPS priority mail. But it still didn't get to me. Tracking information was last updated on 7th of March saying it had arrived at JFK and it's in transit to destination. But it's been 5 weeks and it's not in my country yet. Is there any way we can know where the package is? So frustrated.  Probably should have used DHL for that.. may be it's ok to bring scanned copies to the interview?

I checked and ours still shows at NVC? Are these checked in transit one at a time or do we have a problem?

Me too I checked and I found it at NVC

How does embassy notify petitioner and beneficiary?

You are going through the embassy in Kazakhstan? Probably get emailed or call. I was told that a beneficiary gets a call from the Embassy first in Uzbekistan

Yep, Kazakhstan it is.  How effective is a phone call...

Well i guess they call first to confirm an email address and then send P3 instructions  to your fiance's email.

So just got an email that NVC has received my petition. They will be sending me processing instructions within 8 weeks.

That’s good my NOA2 date is a few days before yours so hopefully mine is on it’s way as well.

I hope so. Based on what people reported here I was not expecting to hear from NVC until first week of April. But  I am thankful. :) 🙏
