That's awesome! So you should definitely be looking at leaving NVC on the 19th and arriving at the embassy 22-25 on Ready Status.. I hope that helps concerning your medical! @MaryDave1992 might have some info to share on what the next steps are :)

For us, we have our interview next Tuesday! Waiting impatiently for that lol

Yeah, yours should send out next Tuesday!  When is your medical?  Ours shipped out last week and we got the email saying it shipped that day!  So your email should come next Tuesday!  And our status just changed to "ready" today, so 6 days after it changed to "in Transit".

Great thank you! I've booked it for the 5th of April. Did I see somewhere that we have to update our email addresses to get sent the email? I don't think I've listed mine for anything NVC related so not sure how to get email updates? Is your medical soon?

I did update my email by asking them a question here: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html .  I basically just asked for my case number.  They did get back to me with the case number after about a week and then I also got an email once it shipped out.  I also wrote in the comments my fiances email addressed and asked that he be notified too but he never got anything from them lol.  But I would email them at least with yours and you can always forward things to each other.  My fiances medical is a week from today! :) And interview on April 2!

There are tips on what to do at stage. I've listed them on the first post on the first page of this thread. Well worth a look. Email updates is one of them 😀.

Was doing homework and not paying attention to the clock and missed my opportunity to call and see if they assigned case number today 🤬🤬

I called around noon and they hadn't assigned it yet, so I wanted to call again right before close. Eh, I'll call tomorrow afternoon. Praying we're one of those 24 hour cases. Clock is ticking on the 19March shipment....

Oh wow, I’m sure you’ll have your case number tomorrow. Iryna finished the medical exam this morning. Her appointment was at 8 am and took two hours including two vaccinations.  She said the clinic was very nice and the people were very kind.

So next for us is the 19th ship date and then watching to make sure the hardcopy gets to Kyiv before her appointment with the consulate on March 27.

I was eyeing the 27th too, in hopes that she should have her visa in hand fast enough to fly out that following weekend, but I'm just scared that the 27th is too close for comfort. from what I had heard, it was 2 to 3 days for packet to get to the Embassy, then 5 to 6 until ceac ready, but I don't know for sure. I asked in the January forum to get clarity, but so far no response.

Hi everyone,

I need help because im getting really concerned about our application, last February 6, 2019 my fiance received our NOA2, its more than 30 days and still he didnt receive any letter for our case number or anything from NVC, we followed the letter and sent them an email accdg to their letter 5 days ago and we haven't receive any response. What is going on? how long do we need to wait for our NVC letter or to hear anything from them?

they don't send anything until they ship the packet to the Embassy. you need to call them to see if it arrived and get your case number. you have the same NOA2 date as me and my packet just arrived Friday. still tons of people around our date that haven't arrived though (or at least not confirmed) , so you aren't alone.

my ready status ever changed. Signed for today at the embassy. we still have not gotten any emails or anything yet, so its still clear as mud. i would expect it to be ready "officially" any day now with the email.

her medical is next Monday and she said something about scheduling the interview mid April, but we have been able to schedule it since I first saw that it was Ready

My case made it to the Sydney consulate today! I’m still in the US visiting my fiancé, but looks like I have a busy few months ahead - medical, interview and packing up my house! Aiming for an interview at the end of April - I believe Sydney only does K1 interviews once a month.
