My NOA2 is January 31, and my case arrived at NVC yesterday. I'll be waiting another two weeks. Not so bad, really. When we applied in September, our estimated approval date was at the beginning of April. I'm quite happy with it being shipped to the embassy on March 19th!

Yes!! Tbh I was initially banking on 3/19. At the risk of sounding ungrateful (which we aren't!), we had to scramble to get our plans out a little bit earlier than anticipated since we left this time around. But yeah most of the ones i've seen have had NOA2 in January BUT also mid Feb NVC dates. The latest I've seen is 2/25 but my guess is 2/27 is probably the cutoff.

It is almost 4pm  and no one posted that it was shipped today? I checked like 20 times today. Anyone? How was this in the past? do they update this late in a day?

Mine was sent. Got an email from NVC earlier today.

I can't wait to get to the point where I never have to contact the NVC for anything again. Waited on hold for over an hour and then the representative put me on hold twice during the call (she wasn't looking anything up with my case, talking to someone else in the background). I swear it feels like I keep getting the same woman who has like a semi-jamaican accent. I had questions about whether or not our case was shipped and what a case number truly means. She literally kept cutting me off before I could even get a question out. Am I correct to assume then a case number means IT HAS NOT been processed? According to the call center rep, it's just another way of recording receiving of the case and then it goes into more "admin" processing which *SHOCKER* has absolutely no estimated timeframe. No 90 days, 6 week, 8 weeks whatever. They can keep it for as long as they want. No confirmation either that they ship on Tuesdays. I wonder why there's so much secrecy around shipping schedules?

So no 3/05 shipment date with our NAO2 of 1/29 and Case # received on 2/28. If you didn't get a notification or update on CEAC in the morning, you missed it.

We are also feb 6 noa2. I’m betting that we will hear positive news by week end. It’s all good. Won’t ship out until 19th anyway.

I must have spoken to the same lady...not rude, very polite but no bedside manner. She said they have 6 weeks to get the file and 8 weeks to generate a # an have it sent off. She also said that although my file was not there yet (noa2 2/19) I should check anytime.

Nvc sends one email she says when its shipped to the embassy with the info.

Another line so I guess we just get ready for the next steps.

Good luck everyone.

I thought once approved you can download and not have them emailed. That's my understanding.

Sorry for the misleading information.

And thanks for the correct inflammation. We haven't done it yet but I know we can get it online instead of waiting for the mail. :)

I am NOA 2 Jan 30 and my did not get shipped today. We have to wait till 19. 2 more weeks.

It's based on when your case number is assigned. Nothing moves after NOA2 till the file is assigned a case number from NVC. They ship some on Wednesday. China is all electronically sent and goes at anytime.
