Gives it time for payment to clear through the bank etc. Check in about 8-9 hours from now. It is uneasy feeling but it is normal. And yes, I do not expect shortage of interview slots. Btw, do not forget March 8 is International woman's day, it might add a bit of a delay.

Oh, I haven’t forgotten. I wired the money over to my florist in Kyiv this morning. In case anyone is needing a very good florist who charges reasonable prices, I have a recommendation.

Question: In Ukraine y'all don't need the bank slip to pay the fee? Ours gives us the same error but I keep hearing we need the bank slip which you get off of traveldocs which we can't print until our case is ready.

You do. You get bank slip of traveldocs which tells you how much to pay and specific bank to use. You can print it any time, it just an image.

I am. He has his profile set up and everything but it gives us no deposit slip options. These are the instructions

but when we log in we get this:

image.png.1df521b05a95efb4b45517aa960c0df9.png

and those instructions are contradicting lol one says to make sure our case is Ready and the other one says to make sure we paid the correct amt but up to that point it has given us no bank slip to pay.

It is fascinating to see how different process is between different embassies. For Ukraine you just a get a slip whenever, for Lebanon apparently you need an to login first etc etc. It also makes it that much more difficult to compare notes between people going through same process but at different embassies.

Yes!! and most of the people I've met that have gone through this embassy were not as impatient I guess to pay the fee haha so they all comfortably waited until it said Ready and i'm over here tugging at my ropes to see which one pulls lol

So if this is just an image how often does it get updated. On it it tells to pay 7685 in Hrivnas (Ukranian money) but if we have to pay based on exchange rate to US dollar wouldn't it change like every day?

The form has a very short lifespan, it states the "good until" date in the header of the page.  Ever since I first learned of the form, months ago, it's had the same 7685 UAH and this is really insulting when it tries to suggest this is based on prevalent exchange rates.  This would require a 1:29 USD:UAH exchange rate, a rate higher than has ever existed although it has been in the 26-27 rate lately.  As long as you show up at the bank with a form that's current and sufficient UAH, then there's no reason to be concerned.  I would suggest one go ahead and make payment as soon as you complete your DS-160 form.  You will need both your 160 form case number and your payment receipt number in order to ready yourself to schedule your interview.

Well, I don't read Ukrainian, but there is a date there, 4 of March 2019, which is Monday (I assume dates are in un-american format, with day being first) I was actually wrong, it is not an image, it is text. The exchange rate is jacked up as I've pointed out before. They use 29 hryvnas to 1 dollar, while actual exchange rate currently fluctuates somewhere in 26 to 27 hryvnas region. So, in effect you are paying 284 or so dollars instead of $265. I am guessing it is what allows them to keep the slip and rate same despite little fluctuation in price. So the fee is 7685 UAH paid to the bank.

no. the date on the top is when that particular exchange rate is good for, after that i think it can change. hryvnia exchange rates are dropping pretty fast now, so i told her to go ahead and get this and the medical exam done now with the money i sent before it goes too much lower

Regardless, you have to have an "in date" form when you go to the bank.  I haven't seen the amount change in months.

If the exchange rate was compiled appropriately, today it would be 7145 UAH instead of 7685 as we are at 1:26.963
