Well, as an update, Kristina flew in Saturday evening, no problems. She received passport in hand Friday, flew in the next day. The flight was rough, it was her first ever, but all in all not too bad.

SSN has nothing to do with the AOS except that you can't work until you receive your EAD card. Here is how you go about getting your SS card. You can thank me when you receive your card. 😁

FYI to UK people that had their Visa's issued last week like me. If you didn't get a tracking number, contact DX via their online chat https://www.dxdelivery.com/contact/ - I had no idea my visa was due to arrive tomorrow until I asked if they had it! Gave me the tracking number that I was supposed to receive.

I am gonna visit my fiancé again from May 6-30 will there be any problems at the immigration customs? I will travel with ESTA. 

The majority of the people who are traveling on a ESTA while applying for a K-1 do not have problems. But, if we think like a immigration officer would a person applying for a K-1 not just stay and get married and apply for a different visa based on their "new" status? So, what to do? I'd recommend carrying a letter from your employer that they are aware that you are going on "vacation" and that you will return back to work on such and such date. Just saying.

For those who have already interviewed, where are you checking the status of your visa? And are you using your ds160 application ID or the case number? When I check it just says ready for interview but the interview was already completed on April 24. I’m checking the passport status on the consulate site and it says passport is still with the embassy/consulate. Where are people seeeing the “issued” status and what are you entering to get that.

CEAC.stat.gov enter either your case number or your DS-160 number. Both will work but DS-160 is faster to the result. Try immigrant status first if nothing then try non-immigrant. This was explained on the first page first post. I put it there for two reasons. 1 because it's always asked for and 2 so you can refer to it when you need it. Oh 3. So I don't blow a gasket because nobody reads the entire thread.
