My only question is that we are waiting for the passport to come through TMM services. Will we get notice in the email or a phone call from TMM that they have her passport to pick it up?

What does CEAC site shows for visa status? If it shows "Issued" are you having TMM hold passport and visa for pick up or having it delivered? If you are holding it for pickup and status on CEAC site shows Issued, which is what I would recommend (fewer places for things to go wrong or lost) I would expect she will get a call from them this week or maybe early next week assuming elections will not put things into too much disarray.

Good luck. Which airline are you using?

Thank you! My fiance did his medical, and we have everything ready to go once we get the P3. Could there be a problem holding up our application? Or they're just going in order and this kind of thing is common?

You can actually schedule the interview through their webpage since its only the NVC number required. However they will ask if you received package 3 in the last part of the online scheduling.

@Thomas W

Got the email from embassy today to schedule the interview. I don't think they are going to send any physical mail.

We just got one too. Alright!

Hello guys.

Just wanted to update everyone. She had her interview last Thursday and got approved verbally. I already booked the flight from Kiev to JFK on May 11th. So I have one month to prepare the house for her and she has one month to pack and say goodbye to everyone. So that is awesome news.

My only question is that we are waiting for the passport to come through TMM services. Will we get notice in the email or a phone call from TMM that they have her passport to pick it up? How long does it usually take? Do they ever take too long? I worry that we might not get it until she needs to fly. This worry thing just never ends. LOL.

They usually call, and it's usually around a week.  Kris interviewed on a Monday and received hers that Friday.

So I have an interesting situation, maybe.

I originally put down my Texas address as my residence, and I put the same for my beneficiary. On the DS-160 I also put the address where my fiancé is staying as my Texas address. However, I just moved to NY for work, but I’m keeping my permanent residence as my Texas address (it’s my parents place), so that I don’t need to change literally all of my documents. My work may require me to move any year. So I could be moving next year. But what address should I put for my beneficiary? Should I keep it with my Texas address because no matter what that is my permanent address until I really settle down somewhere, or should I change it to the NY one? And if I should change it should I do it now or after she enters the states?

I'm confused, but maybe I'm reading this wrong? I just checked your timeline to clarify. Why did you put your Texas address as your beneficiaries address? Is she not in Japan? Her address there is the one you should put on the I-129f and the DS-160.

 No I’m talking about the address where she will reside in the USA. I put my Texas address originally, but I’m wondering if it would be better to put my new NY address. Or does it not really matter?

I originally put down .....

You (petitioner) are required to keep your address up to date with USCIS. You are to report the address change within 10 days. The beneficiary should never have a US address for any documents.  That includes  the I-129F,  I-134 and DS-160. You need all occurrences where the address is wrong corrected.
