FEBRUARY 2019 K-1 NOA2 ----> NVC

It's looking like the others on my timeline for the Stockholm Embassy have received their P3, but my fiance and I haven't received anything yet 😫. My concern is that my fiance's (he is the beneficiary in Denmark) name was misspelled on the NVC letter (it was missing one letter in part of his last name). We notified the NVC but didn't send anything to the Embassy. Do you think we should send something? Everything is spelled correctly on the NOA2 and we contacted the Embassy twice about other things last week and they kind of told us to calm down, so I'm worried about sending another email to them. Any insight would be helpful!

Thats great. Congratulations. Glad everything worked out. Kate will be coming to JFK also, but as her final destination. Im super excited about her interview this Monday.

everything will go fine. just go over the checklist together and make sure everything is there. we split ours up into document protectors. one had passport, ds160 page, appointment email, police record, and birth certificate. another packet was just financial stuff. last was proof of relationship type stuff. put a lot of pictures of you guys together. pictures can't prove the 2 year thing (unless dated or at a very known event), but they definitely can help show your relationship is genuine. we had about 15 and the officer actually went through them, smiling and making comments.  there's a list out there with a ton of possible questions, have her review them just to get an idea of the type of stuff they might ask. Kristina had a good time there, nothing but good things to say about the Embassy in Kyiv.

Some example questions would be:

-What is the name of your fiancé/e?

-Where did you meet?

-When did you meet?

-How did you meet?

-When are you planning to get married?

-What is your fiancé/es work?

-Have you gone out of the country?

-How long were you out of the country?

-How many times has your fiancé/e visited you?

-Where did you go when your fiancé/e visited you?

-Do you plan to have kids?

-Where do you plan on staying in the US?

-name and DOB

-what year did you meet

-How did you meet

-what are your fiancé parents' names

-your fiancé's employer and job

-have either of you been married before

-other countries you've been to

-do you have kids together

These are some of the questions but rest assure that all the questions will be about the petitioner, the beneficiary, and the relationship. Always tell the truth even if the truth is "I don't know". Don't rush in answering and give a straightforward answer. Look the CO in the eye when answering and smile. Don't give a novel as your answer. Just brief and concise. Don't volunteer any information unless asked, this could send you down the wrong road.

Don't forget to ask if you passed.

Name corrections can be verified with the CO at the time of the interview. Don't run around trying to fix it now as it may never get fixed. It's not uncommon for misspellings on documents whether it's the NVC letter, NOA1 or NOA2. You DON'T want the visa to be misspelled which requires it to be corrected before leaving the country.

Hello guys.

Just wanted to update everyone. She had her interview last Thursday and got approved verbally. I already booked the flight from Kiev to JFK on May 11th. So I have one month to prepare the house for her and she has one month to pack and say goodbye to everyone. So that is awesome news.

My only question is that we are waiting for the passport to come through TMM services. Will we get notice in the email or a phone call from TMM that they have her passport to pick it up? How long does it usually take? Do they ever take too long? I worry that we might not get it until she needs to fly. This worry thing just never ends. LOL.

That's a question that should be asked in your country's sub-forum.

So when the case got ready on the 9th (and it said on CEAC "last update April 9th") and now it shows "Last Update April 10th" does it mean they took some action on our case and maybe send out the P3? lol :D
i'm so damn nervous and impatient I know lol

That's a good possibility.

So my fiancé is able to schedule an appointment with AIT. With the I-134, would I be able to have it filled out and signed and just scan it through email or does she have to bring the original signed document?

Most embassy's are accepting the I-134 as a scanned copy BUT each is different. Why not ask in the sub-forum for your country. Here is an ongoing thread they may have possibilities.

Thank you! My fiance did his medical, and we have everything ready to go once we get the P3. Could there be a problem holding up our application? Or they're just going in order and this kind of thing is common?

No one can answer "when". Just more patience is needed.
