So glad to hear this! A tentative congratulations to the both of you! Did they ask for much in the way of proof of income? I have Andrew's 2018 tax transcript, 2 most recent LES statements from the military and his W2. Also a list of all his stocks/bonds. We had issues getting a letter from his bank, hoping this isn't an issue.

Your going to be fine with what you have.

Interview was today. we got denied. Consul said from the get go that we didn't have enough evidence [photos and chat logs]. With application, I sent 2 to 3 pics per trip...there were 7 trips between first in person meeting and time of filing. I also sent 17 double side pages of phone log/conversations spanning 14 months. Today, we also took pics of last 2 trips post filing and additional logs. She still said it wasnt enough. She asked some Qs and then sent us to another area where we both got interview separately...him longer than me. Of note, the mother of his two daughters and I have the same last name. The investigator asked me what was my relationship with her: I said none that I'm aware of. Later on, my fiance told me he was told it was too coincidental that both women share same last name. Investigator told me after all his questioning that he had proof that we were a fraud and that I was only doing him a favor and that as a US citizen with children I needed to think and tell the truth. I said I was very secure in my relationship with my fiance and to add to his previous questions of why we didn't get married sooner it was for that very same reason, we wanted to foment a relationship and ensure matrimony is what we wanted. So, he sent us back to consul who after another lengthy wait, told us he's ineligible for visa... reason listed in page: fraud, misrepresentation...

Speaking with my fiance on all the Qs, we provided same answers using similar/same exact responses.

Devastated....yeah...I'm boarding my flight back to NYC with an unexpected outcome. that's my sin for the day: I was sure it was gonna be an approval.

Ohhh my goodness! My heart goes out to you, Catherine! Is there a wide age difference besides the same last name issue?

My heart goes out to you. But this is silly from the consulate. What’s the essence of background checks then? This doesn’t make sense to me honestly. Stay strong Catherine!

Got the email from Kiev embassy saying they are ready for interview. Very interesting that the Ukrainian embassy sends a scanned copy of the 129f petition with their markings in it. Interview set for Monday. Sucks i can’t be there but I’m sure Kate will so fine. :)

The Sydney Embassy sends the I129F, too. Probably, they all do. Good luck with your interview!

Alright the package from April 2 finally arrived to Seoul (after accidentally getting shipped to San Juan, Puerto Rico.) We're awaiting contact. I wonder how they will reach out...

Thanks Thomas and Greenbaum. I appreciate your help. I will join the thread you made Thomas. And yeh it looks like DHL screwed up the package. Regarding the police certificate, I think I understand what I need to do. Canada has delegated fingerprint collection process to third parties. So my next steps would be to work with the third party and give them fingerprints that they can upload electronically in to RCMP. I am going to get the fingerprints from my local Seoul police station. Once RCMP clears it the third party will then ship the document back to me.

Alright Atya, Seoul finally received our packet! But we haven't been contacted yet. Did you have any luck with Canadian police certificate?

I sent an email to my embassy to help expedite the process and surprisingly they replied back the next day with my P3! 😄

It's not unusual.  I would use to prepare for the interview.  Most beneficiaries never see it and there is always the possibility s question could come from that package.
