When you saw on dhl tracking that it got delivered hours ago but ceac still shows in transit 😒

Weird that other Germans before had it "ready" the second day after "in transit" and here we go on day 3 in transit..

Hey, it could be worse, it could say in transit and not show up in DHL at all like mine. 😛 I'm just hoping it's even getting sent because other months were trackable but not mine.

The electronic version is sent to the embassy prior to the paper copy. The system is set up to set your CEAC status to ready when that process is complete. So many get a "ready" before their paper copy arrives. It has no affect on the interview. Now the "ball" is in your court to begin gathering the documents and completing the task's as outlined in your embassy's P3.

Yup, thank you. Can you send me the P3 one more time please. I’m going to set my interview for July.

Trust the process. Your case along with every other case will be set to "ready" and not on your timeline but USCIS's timeline for you. :yes:

I was wondering about police certificates. My fiance got one from Egypt and Iraq as he lived in both places before, but he got them at the end of February and they expire at the end of May, and as my luck would have it the first available appointment he could get to interview was June 13th. He hasn't gone back to either country in years, so does he have to get new certificates, or will they be ok. They were not easy to get, but we have been waiting a year now so we don't want any reasons to face a denial. Also I wanted to double check medical exams are valid for a year correct?

Police certificates expire after one year, unless the certificate was issued from your country of previous residence and you have not returned there since the police certificate was issued. If at the time of your interview the following three items are all true, you must bring a new police certificate to your visa interview:
    • You are more than 16 years old;
    • The police certificate submitted to NVC was obtained more than one year ago; and
    • You still live in the country that issued the certificate.

Would you happen to know or have an idea why my country does not show up in the DHL search?  Even though I have received the NVC email on 2nd April and status is still in transit.  I can't help but think my case was sent to another country 😕 or is this normal and I should relax.. lol

I answered your question when I answered Jiviman's question which you are quoting.  Give more time. DHL is only accurate if your case is sent as a paper file. Go to your embassy website and search for the next step and begin going down the next road. Complete the DS160, pay your Visa interview fee, schedule and take your medical exam and collect the required documents. And if you haven't heard along the via coach contact your embassy for further details.
