Once you move to "Received" you can send your Packet 3 to the Embassy and they will schedule the interview.  The BKK interviews seem to be scheduled for 2 weeks after they receive your Packet 3.  (The embassy selects the date and time for you, but you can contact them if you need to reschedule).   You will need to complete the medical before the interview and it takes a day or 2 for the results of the medical to become available.

2--3 days. How long does it take for your record to be set to ready and then send you the P3. These all good questions to ask in your country's sub forum where your getting answer from some who has experience with your embassy. Every embassy is different in how the process visas.

The P3 is one of the links I gave you. You don't want to get a headstart?

oh I've already started but as I am a Filipino based in Thailand, I need two police clearance and both of them takes a while to be processed. Good thing I processed my NBI in advance so just waiting for it to be mailed here. The Thai police clearance will only be ready after Songkran due to so many public holidays.

I have also done the different forms (D-160, DS-2001, GSS) but made a mistake of paying for the visa fee coz apparently the $265 on the file is not the same amount that we should pay here. I was confused :( but it's ok, all sorted out as I called the USE to get advised on this. I was told to just wait till I get my own P3. :)

I also checked the Thailand thread but didn't see any related to this fee issue. or maybe you have encountered this question before? Any info will be appreciated.

It would be advisable to just ask your question in the Thai forum. You'll get help there.
