If us 2/7 peeps get assigned by next Friday, we too can be on the 3/5 shipping.

I looked at the calendar for DR, appts are available for March...aiming for the end of March 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

I was thinking to give til Wednesday to start calling.

It's possible, but the cutoff will more than likely be Wednesday or Thursday. Anything after that is a gamble. For the 28Jan-1Feb guys, chances are pretty good for making the cutoff, but for us in the following week its a dim chance.

I had approached making the Kiev medical appointment about two weeks ago and there was no wait at all. I also checked on making the embassy appointment and there appeared to be only an extremely short wait there as well. Less than 3 days.

That's great to hear! I know some people have to wait a long time for Embassy appointments in other countries.

Yes, don't think there were any issues with interview slots at Kyiv embassy. When it comes to medical, assume it would be 2 day ordeal, they might tell you "results ready same day" by practically they tend to be busy enough you have to come back next day for the packet. Medical also provides "free" coffee and sandwiches after you are done with blood test, cause they don't want people passing out while waiting.

Thanks, she haven’t get it yet but I will tell her to get that paper from now. One more question. My fiancé is pregnant and she will be due probably around when the paper is ready to set an interview. Should I let USCIS that my fiancé is pregnant before the interview? When should I have ready the affidavit of support?

The I-134 can be completed now and signed/dated just before you send it to her for the interview. There isn't a need for you to inform USCIS but you have some additional things to do if the baby is born there before she can leave. You'll need a passport from both countries for the baby and you'll need to complete CRBA at the embassy. I hope she delivers in the US so you don't have all this running around to do.

How much blood is taken? Lol. I can see where that might be more if a concern in Kiev than in other areas!

I’ve been looking to see if one has to wait for Kiev to receive a hard copy of the petition or if scheduling after their receipt of the electronic copy was satisfactory or permissible.

The music is absolute torture lol. It would be really unique if it recognized your “country of interest” based upon matching your phone number to your receipt number. It could give interesting cultural, current event, or historical facts while one waits!  So your fiancé, is she from Kyiv?

I heard there is going to be a new I-129M form for those who want to list their special playlist, for those on hold moments and those that don't care will continue to use the I-129f.

thanks in adavance

First read the first post of this thread. There are some good tips. Next get a bottle of whisky because it's going to be another wait. And finally look over this information and be ready to go once your case number is assigned.

This is everything that is needed for DR interview

Valid recommendation 😂

I've been brewing beer and made some honey wine. I've got a closet full at this point just waiting for her to arrive. Gonna have some friends over to celebrate once she gets here 😁😁😁

My mama loves Malibu rum and pineapple juice 😂😂😂

And anytime, I'm here in North Carolina too. We'll have to get together sometime and I'll bring you some stuff to "sample".

I don't think we ever got a hard copy. When CEAC site shows ready, you are should be ok to schedule appointment. Visa fee is $265 and you have to pay at specific bank in hryvnas $1 to 29 hryvnas conversation rate. That rare tends to be quite a bit higher than what market rate is, in effect it might cost you as much as $285. Medical fee is $205 also paid in hryvnas but that is converted at market rate. You can schedule medical any time after you get KEV number from. You don't even need to wait for CEAC status to be "ready" Don't forget to bring 5x5cm pictures with you to medical.
