You just got the first Notice of Action also known as NOA1. It doesn't yet mean that your case was approved. It takes about 5-8 months for USCIS to approve the case after NOA1.

I thought I already had the first Notice of Action on (NOA1)Jan 31, 2019 saying they received my case on Jan 28, 2019. That's why I'm confused.  When I called, the recording said my I-129F was processed on 3/21/2019 and that I will receive a letter within 30 days. Maybe it's an RFE

Hi. I'm Filipino but based in Thailand, so I would be processing my visa here. Should I change my "Embassy" to Thailand for better gathering of information? Thanks! :)

The flag is for the country you are having your interview in. If I give you information for the Philippines and it is not something required by Thailand or vice versa then you could hurt your visa process. So, please change it to reflect the country that you will interview in. Thanks.

More likely that they are sending you a confirmation that they fixed whatever error that you wanted them to correct. The action that they took was that they fixed the error.

Are you able to call them?

Sounds to me like they've assigned a # and shipped to your embassy.

Hey there! I just saw in yout timeline that you or your fiancee are from Argentina.

This link is the subforum for Argentinian people and most of the infomation there is about what to do after NOA2, NVC number and Embassy Interview. Feel free to join and ask any question. Since we are from the same country it will be easier to answer questions and now more since we will have similar process. Good luck!

That note sounds to me like they have shipped your file to your Embassy and any questions need to be directed to them. Call NVC on Monday, phone information is on the first page of this thread in the first post. Once you have your case number then go to ceac.state.gov and do a search using "immigrant" as the visa type and your case number. If your status shows "ready" then your file is at your embassy waiting on you. I wish I could be more help but....

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks

Does anyone have problems with filling out new Affidavit of Support on computer?

We can't type in some boxes. We have tried different kind of devices but I guess the form itself wasn't made properly
