We received our NOA2 on February 1st 2019 and today I once again get this message:

This does not instill a lot of confidence in USCIS

We are still reviewing your case and there are no updates at this time

We will notify you when your case status changes. We last took action on your case on August 7, 2018.

I'm not sure if you have not noticed a pattern here with USCIS but over the years it hasn't change. They give limited amount of information except to notify you when your case has been adjudicated and on its way to NVC. Rarely do they update websites and when you call the information is not helpful. So from my perspective you will continue to spin your wheels to determine any milestone from UCIS. This is designed this way as they have a website and if you are within that window then your case is proceeding normally and you are within normal adjudication times. It's when you are outside of that window that you can start to be concerned. JMHO

I was reading through what to do now that the NVC has my case and I’m confusing the steps with the Immigrant visa steps that is on the department of state website which says to submit financial and civil documents online through CEAC.  Are we also submitted our financial and civil documents online through CEAC or is that just for immigrant visa petitions? It seems that for K1 since it’s a Nonimmigrant visa the NVC portion isn’t as lengthy and the consulate really is the one that does the processing portion is that correct?

That's just for immigrant visas. k1 would present those to the consulate.

If you get a copy please share with me so I can pass it forward.

I definitely will share it!

Replying just to let others know that may be in the same boat: We have a NVC case receive date of 02/28. We have not received an email or had our CEAC status updated. Since ours would be going to Mumbai, India, A DHL shippers reference of EXP 05 MAR 2019A has not brought up anything yet.
