I just want to inquire regarding on how to process the citizenship of my children, should the father file for a petition or should I apply for the CRBA? Here is my situation, I, the mother of the children is not a US citizen while their father is a US Citizen since birth but born abroad and now staying at the US for the first time for almost 2 years. The children are born out of wedlock but we are married now. Does he still needs to stay at least 5 years in the US? Thank you

Based on what you wrote the father only spent two years in the US (since birth and after age of 14). He doesn’t qualify to pass citizenship. He needs to file I-130 for children - they’ll become citizens after entering on immigrant visas.
